Samuel Carapia, at the age of 20, studied composition with Victor Chávez Herrera and later entered the Carlos Chávez Composition Workshop at the National Conservatory of Music in 2020.
There, he studied composition and electroacoustics, presenting various works and winning a national competition with his work "Rumory" for solo flute in 2024.
