The Mexican Composition Network is an entity dedicated to promoting contemporary Mexican music. Established in 2024 by a group of emerging composers, our goal is to build a community that goes beyond the individualistic approach, fostering a collaborative and equitable environment in the world of musical composition.
With 16 active members, the network brings together composers committed to creating new works that reflect the diversity and richness of current music in Mexico. We strive to foster a new generation of creators, supporting innovation and artistic quality from a perspective that values gender diversity and the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community.
Our guiding principles include collectivity, inclusion, mutual respect and a deep passion for creativity. Although we are in the initial phase of our projects, we are actively working on the creation of a poster to make the work of our members visible and on the development of a future publishing branch that will contribute to the musical panorama of the country.
