I am a Mexican composer, focused on the analysis of spiritual songs from ancient cultures as a form of inspiration for my current work.
Currently based in Marseille, France, I began my musical studies as a pianist at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico, where I later studied composition. And in 2023 I obtained my Master's Degree in Composition at the University of Bergen in Norway, with the Hungarian composer Dániel Péter Biró. My music has been premiered in Mexico, Japan, India, France and Norway, by ensembles such as Quasar Saxophone quartet, Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, BIT20 ensemble, EON ensemble, among others.
In addition to my academic focus, I have also worked as a composer in contemporary dance and theater productions; in documentaries, short films, television commercials for brands such as Mazda, Cervecería Modelo and Chedraui; and as a composition assistant in Mexican television series and films. As a producer I have worked with several rock and pop artists from Mexico, Norway and India, and
I recently launched my project Miloz Orbe as an independent artist
For more than 6 years I have been teaching private music classes, including piano, composition, music theory and music production.
